Meet the Anne Arundel Eye Center Team
DR. SAMUEL BOLES
Anne Arundel Eye Center was founded by board-certified ophthalmologist and Maryland top surgeon Dr. Samuel Boles who received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his post-doctoral training at a Harvard University Cornea research lab, a Yale University affiliated Hospital in Bridgeport Connecticut, George Washington University for Ophthalmology Residency and the University of California, San Diego for Glaucoma Fellowship. He helped originate the Glaucoma Co-Management Roundtable to improve patient care through better communication and education. An active volunteer in the community offering periodic free screenings and specific community outreach programs, Dr. Boles serves on the Board of Directors for The Polakoff Foundation and the Maryland Society for Sight.

Since starting the practice in 2007, Dr. Boles has been voted Top Doc as part of What’s Up Magazine‘s peer survey. Again this year, he has been recognized for his specialized training dealing with the structure, functions, and diseases of the eye.
"I have nothing but praise for Dr. Boles, for his staff, for the tranquility and attractiveness of his office, and for his phenomenal respect for and compassionate approach to his patients–which is mirrored by everyone he employs... His new partner, Dr. Nathan Frank is cut from the same cloth. If you are looking for an old-fashioned (Marcus Welby, MD) sort of doctor with state-of-the-art skills and the latest technology, this is the place to go."
